Dr Fisher retires at the end of June

We welcome Dr Tabitha Smith and Dr Ben Neate, two very capable and well qualified doctors who have been appointed to look after his patients.

Dr. Fisher's patients with surnames A-I will be registered with Dr. Smith and those with surnames J-Z will be registered with Dr. Neate.  If this results in family members being registered with different doctors please liaise with our reception manager Linda Croad.

Teen LifeCheck

The Department of Health has announced the national rollout of NHS Teen LifeCheck - a free, online lifestyle self-assessment service offering health and lifestyle information to 12-15 year olds

Influenza A (H1N1)

If you have travelled recently to an affected areas and have fever, cough and /or other symptoms such as muscle pain and sore throat please telephone us or NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.  Do not not attend the Medical Centre, minor injuries unit or A&E department without telephoning for medical advice first.

NB Pharmacists have been advised that if a patient presents with a prescription for Tamiflu or Relenza, the patient should be referred back to their doctor as there are very few supplies of these products in the wholesalers because it is not the normal influenza season and the supply of this is controlled through the local Health Protection Units.

We welcome any suggestions for this website or the running of the practice - there is a suggestions box in the waiting room.
