Poole Bay Pharmacy is located within Westbourne Medical Centre and has its own entrance for when the medical centre is closed. It will offer all the services you would expect from a pharmacy, including home delivery, and will work closely with the doctors to offer many other services. If you have symptoms including fever and cough and /or other symptoms such as muscle pain and sore throat please go to the NHS direct symptom checker website NHS direct symptom checker or ring NHS Direct on 0845 46 47. If the above services advise contacting your GP please telephone the Medical Centre. Do not attend the Medical Centre, minor injuries unit or A&E department without telephoning for medical advice first. Pharmacists have been advised that if a patient presents with a prescription for Tamiflu or Relenza, the patient should be referred back to their doctor as there are very few supplies of these products in the wholesalers because it is not the normal influenza season and the supply of this is controlled through the local Health Protection Units.
