HEALTH VISITING AND CHILD HEALTH AT WESTBOURNE MEDICAL CENTRE Anna Gillingham and Tina Taylor are the health visitors at Westbourne and they work closely with Jody Denton, nursery nurse. The team are supported by Lisa Green, health visitor assistant. 156 new babies in the last 12 months have kept them very busy! Health visitors and nursery nurses work with parents or carers of young children by providing child health surveillance, health information and support. As well as seeing you and your child at appointed times to monitor their development, we can help you with issues like potty training, behaviour problems or feeding problems (to name just a few!) The team work closely with the doctors and the practice team at Westbourne. direct. ClinicThe baby clinic is held at: St Michael's Church Poole Hill Wednesday 9.30am to 10.30am Under one's groupThe Under Ones group is held at the same time as clinic. The group is intended as a social group for young babies and their parents where parents can make friends, share ideas and support one another in relaxed surroundings. Attendance can be flexible and parents and babies may join the group whenever they wish. The group has speakers in a regular basis to give short presentations on a variety of baby related topics.
