Born in Poole. Raised in Wimborne.  Qualified from Guy's King's and St Thomas' Medical Schools, London in 2001. Trained in Hampshire as a GP.

Enjoys 5-a-side football, cycling and seaside walks with a family.

Interests include general/elderly medicine and echocardiography.

Dr Neate works part-time. He looks after approximately 1,200 patients whereas a full time partner has a registered list of about 2,000)
