I studied at Southampton University and completed my GP training in Poole in 2007. In the two years prior to starting at Westbourne I have worked as a freelance locum GP in many different practices in the local area. I am also involved in GP education in my role as a Programme Director for the Dorset GP Training Scheme.

Outside work I spend time running and cycling in the New Forest. I’m married to an orthopaedic surgeon-in-training and we look after a mischievous tortoise and a growing vegetable garden

Dr Smith works part-time. She looks after approximately 1,200 patients whereas a full time partner has a registered list of about 2,000)
