Skin Surgery is undertaken in the practice. You will need to discuss your requirements in an appointment with your registered doctor. We are keen to see skin, which has changed or you are worried about. Our Thursday clinic removes a range of skin lesions such as sebaceous cysts, suspicious naevi and troublesome ingrowing toenails.
Unfortunately we have had a funding claw back from the Primary Care Trust so many skin lesions, which do not need removal on purely medical grounds are no longer funded. We are looking at setting up a service with Ocean Health for those annoying skin tags and seborrhoeic warts that owners would like removed.
